This is the entry for the Five in Five (FiFi) Cyclopark Road Runner Race Series.
We're very excited about this run series because we're teaming up yet again with our good friends over at Runbelievable Challenges to bring you a 5 runs in 5 days series and all 5 events can be classed as road for both Marathon & Half Marathon distance because they'll be held on our measured and certified 5.25 mile route. So if, for example, you need 10 road marathons for the 100 Marathon Club then you can run 5 of them during this series. And, as if that wasn't enough, well just look at the medals!
As the name suggests this is a series of 5 consecutive running events held over 5 consecutive days where you choose from 5 miles to 10 miles, half to marathon to ultra, you can complete as many, or as few, laps as you like of an 8.5 km, 5.25 mile, out and back, course around the tarmac tracks near the Cyclopark.
The runs are 7 hour timed events. We welcome absolutely all abilities of runner or walker - complete one lap on any day and you're both a finisher for that day and a winner in our eyes, or keep going and see how far you can go in the full time limit. Then come back and do it all over again and again and again.
The Road Runner Five in Five Road series will be based from the overflow car park at the Cyclopark. Our aid station or tuck shop is famous for all its sweet and savoury goodies and CAKE and it will be out in full force in November 2025 so you won't go hungry!

What do I get?
You will receive,
1) A really special finishers medal custom designed by Phoenix Running.
2) A well stocked base camp with plenty of nibbles and refreshments for during and post race replenishment.
Where do I park and how much does it cost?
There are two car parks at Cyclopark: the Main Car Park and the Overflow Parking area. We will be based in the overflow car park, if this gets too full then please park in the main car park. Please note parking is Pay & Display no matter where you are parked. (Currently £7 for all day , and you can gain access from either end of the Overflow Parking area)
There is limited parking in surrounding roads outside of the park, which are free but at your own risk and a short trek away from the start.
When do I get my race number?
You'll pick this up on race day morning from the race base camp.
Are there time limits?
Yes, a hard 7hours to run as many laps as you can. You can finish at any time within the 7 hours and your final distance will be recorded along with your finishing time.
For any runner completing a marathon distance, it will count for the purposes of the 100 Marathon Club. As long as you finish one lap then you'll receive an official finish time and medal. With timed events there are no DNFs as long as you complete one lap.
How are laps counted?
We will either dish out lap counting cards or count manually. With the cards, attach this to yourself with a safety pin or cable tie. At the end of each loop get this punched through by one of the hole puncher people. So basically at the end of each lap, get your card punched, or ring the bell!
You'll have to tell us when you're finished, not the other way around. As it's a timed event you choose when you finish.
We'll have an “official finishers bell” for this purpose, when you're done for the day, ring the bell and the goodies will be yours!
Do you have secure baggage facilities
No. But you're free to leave bags at the start/finish. There will always be someone around but we can't guarantee their security, in the event of rain we can't guarantee things won't get wet.
Can I leave my own drinks at Base camp?
Yes no problem at all, however we encourage you to leave these at your bag or car to save space at the aid station.
Trail shoes? Road Shoes?
Road shoes - the route is all on road/path.
Is the course closed to the public?
No. We are using a network of local footpaths, cycle paths and trails and is shared with ramblers, dog walkers, horse riders and cyclists. However the cyclists do have their own dedicated Cyclopark so shouldn't be too much of an issue. Runners do not have the right of way and need to be considerate of other users of the land.
Please don't litter, we'll have a bin at the base camp and another on the far side of the course so please deposit any rubbish in these.
What on course facilities do you provide?
Water, squash, nibbles, starter, timekeeper and encouragement every lap! Base station will be well stocked for all runners.
Are there any facilities at the start/finish area?
There are plenty of toilets at the visitor centre and showers if you desire after the events. There is also a coffee shop serving snacks.
Can I use an ipod or mp3 player on the course?
Yes. Though please be aware that you are running on public footpaths with the general public so make sure that you pay attention to cyclists, people, children on bikes, wildlife and so on.
