We are absolutely delighted to announce that Runbelievable Challenges and Phoenix Running will be working in collaboration to bring you the winter 10in10 run series at the Cyclopark in Kent. This is a 10in10 running partnership between Runbelievable & Phoenix and very much in the spirit of SVN who created this epic winter series, held in the latter part of November each year.
The event theme will be based on 10 Running Commandments - each day will be a different commandment 'tablet medal and were going to have a competition in our chat groups for you to suggest running related commandments. Things like, 'Thou shalt not covet thy neighbours running shoes, or 'Thou shalt never forget to Vaseline thy important parts. The best 10 running commandments will be immortalised on our medals - 10 medals, 10 days, making up a rather awesome set of bling!
There will be a finisher shirt too which we'll order after the event is complete. The artwork for this is to be finalised and well share this as soon as we have it - rest assured it will be awesome.
It is also an option to either do the whole series as a virtual series, or if you can only make a number of the days, to do the remaining ones as virtual runs (just a minimum of 1 mile required to maintain the sequence) so for example it would be fine to run in person on the weekend days and then run the week day events virtually, possibly avoiding the need to take any holiday days.
Routes:
We're going to use 2 routes from the Cyclopark for the 10 days:
The 3.28 Mile "Lightning Bolt" Route (parkrun option)
The 5.25 Mile "177 Route"
Well confirm exactly which routes were using on which day a little nearer the time.
Accommodation
There are three hotels within walking distance and a Travelodge across the road making things as simple as possible. Each day will be a six hour challenge event, what distance you run each day is totally up to you.
We're keeping these events competitively priced to try to make them as accessible as possible. We're also trying to make them as logistically straightforward as possible for everyone. We're not going to have goody bags for these events, but they will certainly be of the very high standard we hope you expect from Runbelievable & Phoenix, inclusive, friendly, awesome aid stations and super-supportive.
We hope you'll consider joining us for one or all of these events.
Places will be strictly limited so don't leave it too late to enter.
Minimum distance is 3.28 miles / 5.25 miles or as far as you can go in 6 hours. Off road trail, the terrain is good trails and tarmac pathways. The overall course has some elevation gain on each lap.

What do I get?
You will receive,
1) A really special finishers medal each day, custom designed by ourselves and Phoenix Running.
2) A well stocked base camp with plenty of nibbles and refreshments for during and post race replenishment.
Where do I park and how much does it cost?
There are two car parks at Cyclopark: the Main Car Park and the Overflow Parking area. For the 10 in 10 we will be based in the overflow car park, if this gets too full then please park in the main car park. Please note parking is Pay & Display no matter where you are parked. (Currently £4 for all day , and you can gain access from either end of the Overflow Parking area)
If you are running for a number of days you can pay for a block of parking in advance to save you having to do that each day,
When do I get my race number?
You'll pick this up on race day morning from the race base camp.
Are there time limits?
Yes, six hours to run as many laps as you can. You can finish at any time within the 6 hours and your final distance will be recorded along with your finishing time. As long as you are out on your final lap before 5:59:59 you will be fine to carry on.
For any runner completing a marathon distance, it will count for the purposes of the 100 Marathon Club. As long as you finish one lap then you'll receive an official finish time and medal. With timed events there are no DNFs as long as you complete one lap.
How are laps counted?
We will dish out lap counting cards. Attach this to yourself with a safety pin or cable tie. At the end of each loop get this punched through by one of the hole puncher people. So basically at the end of each lap, get your card punched, or ring the bell!
You'll have to tell us when you're finished, not the other way around. As it's a timed event you choose when you finish.
We'll have an “official finishers bell” for this purpose, when you're done for the day, ring the bell and the goodies will be yours!
Do you have secure baggage facilities
No. But you're free to leave bags at the start/finish. There will always be someone around but we can't guarantee their security, in the event of rain we can't guarantee things won't get wet.
Can I leave my own drinks/food at the Base camp?
Yes no problem at all, however we encourage you to leave these at your bag or car to save space at the aid station.
Trail shoes? Road Shoes?
The route is suitable for either road or trail shoes. However if dry then road shoes will be preferable.
Is the course closed to the public?
No. We are using a network of local footpaths, cycle paths and trails and is shared with ramblers, dog walkers, horse riders and cyclists. However the cyclists do have their own dedicated Cyclopark so shouldn't be too much of an issue. Runners do not have the right of way and need to be considerate of other users of the land.
Please don't litter, we'll have a bin at the base camp and another on the far side of the course so please deposit any rubbish in these.
What on course facilities do you provide?
Water, squash, nibbles, starter, timekeeper and encouragement every lap! Base station will be well stocked for all runners.
Are there any facilities at the start/finish area?
There are plenty of toilets at the visitor centre and showers if you desire after the events. There is also a coffee shop serving snacks.
Can I use an ipod or mp3 player on the course?
Yes. Though please be aware that you are running on public footpaths with the general public so make sure that you pay attention to cyclists, people, children on bikes, wildlife and so on.
